Tim Atkinson
As Principal Embedded Engineer, Tim executes on complex client projects whilst providing technical and cultural leadership within the Electronics and Software domains.
Tim has been working in commercial product development for over 8 years. He’s an incredible asset to the Exa team and our clients through his system-level thinking, specialised knowledge of medical devices and brushless motor drives, and his strength in:
- Leveraging cross-discipline knowledge to drive collaboration between electronics, software, and mechanical aspects of embedded systems
- Developing system architecture of electronics systems, considering both mandatory requirements and the opportunity for future flexibility
- The design and layout of electronics across the spectrum from rigid, rigid-flex, and fully flexible PCBs
Tim is especially passionate about innovation and using cross-disciplinary collaboration to achieve great results.
